Adnams brings back Spindrift following customer demand

Fan fave gets a rebrew’t

Awards season is upon us. The votes are in. The people have spoken…Spindrift, an Adnams beer of yesteryear, has been given a new lease of life, re-released in celebration of Adnams brewery’s 150th year.

The super refreshing, light blonde ale has won a customer vote to bring back an old Adnams favourite and is now available for old fans – and new – to buy from Adnams.co.uk.

Brewed to its original recipe from 2006, Spindrift has wonderful notes of orange peel and biscuit, a bright, crisp citrus taste and a touch of malty sweetness before its dry, refreshing finish.

Named after the spray blown from cresting waves on the east coast, Spindrift is crowned with a continental-style full white head thanks to the addition of wheat in the brew.

Adnams Spindrift, 4%

Crisp, light and refreshing with biscuity aromas and citrus notes. For an ultimate taste of the coast, enjoy with fish and chips.

About Adnams

Founded by George and Ernest Adnams in 1872, Adnams began as a Southwold brewery on the Suffolk coast and has been fiercely independent for the last 150 years. In 2010, Adnams became the first brewery in England to build a distillery on the same site. Its pioneering spirit has enabled Adnams to become a distinctive brewer, distiller, wine merchant, retailer, publican, and hotelier. From its Southwold home, Adnams crafts award-winning premium beers and spirits which are available from its retail stores, managed properties, partner pubs, and in outlets nationwide and overseas. Adnams has long taken pride in its heritage and strong values and is committed to running its business sustainably, leaving its footprints in the sand, not on the planet.
